Stora Bjorn
Music score for Alba G. Corral's video short Stora Bjorn, which translates as the Great Bear constellation. The visuals were designed with the software Processing, a powerful open source tool. Alba created this piece after she had just returned from a fantastic trip in Sweden where she was immersed in nature under the open sky and vibrant stars. The piece was produced in real time using no post, made with a recursive algorithm, in sync with Kadet's music using only her ears and intuition to follow the composition's dynamics and structure. Designing the piece proved to be very transcendental and metaphysical. Similarly for Kadet, the experience of composing the pulsing, progressively interwoven and repetitive patterns was a meditative sonic journey in which she became lulled into virtual acoustic space.
